One task of the NCR FSMA is to ensure food safety professionals who teach the Produce Safety Alliance (PSA) grower course are well prepared. For this reason, the NCR FSMA conducted a survey with PSA trainers to understand their confidence levels in delivering the material.
A Central Location for Key FSMA Compliance Dates
One of the guidance documents will help animal food establishments determine if they are subject to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) requirements in the Preventive Controls for Animal Food rule and provides explanation and recommendations for meeting the CGMP requirements.

In a speech to the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, M.D., announced a plan to ensure successful implementation of the Produce Safety Rule established by the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
FDA has determined that the following methods are “scientifically valid” and “at least equivalent to the method of analysis in § 112.151(a) in accuracy, precision, and sensitivity”
