September 1 marks the beginning of Year 2 of this grant cycle for the NCR FSMA.
Dan Fillius, from Iowa State University, rejoined the leadership team this summer. He joins the team that includes Byron Chaves from the University of Nebraska, Phil Tocco from Michigan State, Arlene Enderton from Iowa State, and Ellen Johnsen, also based at Iowa State.
We have two new state leads beginning in September.
- Lakshmikantha (Kantha) Channaiah, from the University of Missouri and
- Kristin Krokowski from the University of Wisconsin- Extension.
In case you missed a few earlier changes, Manreet Bhullar is now the state lead for Kansas. He took over when Londa Nwadike became a department chair at South Dakota State University. When Rhoda Burrows retired this summer, Londa took on the state lead role for South Dakota.
This grant cycle runs from Sept 2024-Aug 2027, so we have two more years of work.
