Oregon State University -Western Regional Center to Enhance Food Safety- is collaborating with United Fresh Produce Association, Produce Marketing Association, National Farmers Union and the FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN).
To better understand the produce industry’s education and training needs related to cleaning and sanitizing, they are inviting produce farms and packinghouses to take a short survey. If your network includes produce farms and packinghouses, please send this survey to these stakeholders. The results of this anonymous survey will help guide the development of a cleaning and sanitizing workshop and education materials on best practices for cleaning and sanitizing to meet Produce Safety Rule requirements.
The survey is open through July 7.
