Group lunch State-by-state report-out with emphasis on inspection readiness OFRR Forum – lessons learned from the 2019 growing season - Facilitated discussion following a list of questions Inspections Forum – observations from the 2019 inspections Alternative Curriculum options and process
Oct 10 Day 2: Morning 8: 30 - 12:00 (in-person only)
Sanitizer chemistry, effectiveness data, and EPA labels Sanitary equipment design Hands-on stations in food hub wash/pack facility to experiment with post-harvest water quality demonstrations (30 minutes each)
Afternoon 12:45 - 5:00 (both in-person and Zoom)
State-by-state report-out with focus on technical challenges Deep-dive scenarios small group practice: How to develop a science-based, guidance-informed response to grower questions - Practice walking through common questions that arise at Grower Trainings, focusing on challenging questions and strategies to answer accurately and confidently Re-cap, lessons learned
