Special issue of the Journal of Amish & Plain Anabaptist Studies (autumn 2021)

The Journal of Amish & Plain Anabaptist Studies (JAPAS) is interested in receiving submissions for a special issue focusing on agriculture and the environment, to be published autumn 2021. Areas of interest include: agricultural practice, extension/outreach projects, agricultural safety and health, environmental impacts and conservation, nature studies, history of agriculture, agricultural economics, views of science, and other related topics. JAPAS offers a range of publication categories, including original research and service provider reports. See for details about publication types. Completed submissions are due Friday, July 30, 2021. Inquiries and letters of intent to submit should be sent to Dr. Cory Anderson, JAPAS editor: For this special issue, Dr. Caroline Brock (University of Missouri), an experienced researcher on the Amish relationship with agriculture and the environment, will serve as guest co-editor with regular editors Cory Anderson and Steven Reschly.
